Milbemax Allwormer for dogs is a tablet for the control of all gastrointestinal worms in dogs including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm (including hydatid tapeworm). Milbemax Allwormer for dogs will also prevent heartworm if administered monthly. This product is formulated with two distinctly different proven ingredients offering broad spectrum activity in controlling all intestinal worms. Milbemax Allwormer can be used along with topical flea meds such as Advantage, Frontline Plus or Advantix for optimal protection from internal and extermal parasite on your dogs. Milbemax Allwormer tablets are only small compared to other allwormers and are easily administered by mouth.

Directions for Use
Weigh dogs before treatment. Dogs are treated by weight with the appropriate sized tablet or combination of tablets. Milbemax Allwormer is given as a single dose by mouth. Milbemax Allwormer should be administered with or after some food. Milbemax Allwormer for dogs is available in two sizes. Small dog tablet for puppies and dogs from 0.5 kg to 5 kg and a large dog size for dogs between 5 and 25 kg. Puppies and very small dogs between 0.5 and 1 kg are given half of the small dog tablet. Dogs between 25 and 50 kg are given two of the large dog sized tablets.
A common regime for treatment is to worm puppies every 2 weeks of age from 2 weeks old until 12 weeks, monthly from 3 months until 6 months then every 3 months as an adult dog. Treat breeding bitches prior to mating then 10 days before whelping and 2 and 4 weeks after whelping.
Cautions
Do not use in puppies under 2 weeks of age. This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it. Certain dogs of Collie or related breeds may show a reduced margin of safety for this medication. Consult your veterinarian before use in these breeds. The use of this product in dogs already affected by heartworm is not recommended.
